Note: For Presentation Classes, if
you have five or more candidates in a single grade level, please use the
lower fee amount.
Additional Note: A studio can pay the minimum exam fee
of $1,204.00 to have exams less than 3 hours at its own location.
Refund Policy for Examination & Presentation Classes
In the case of absence through sickness, a medical certificate and a written request for a refund of fees must be sent to the Royal Academy of Dance/Canada office by the end of the session. Fifty-percent of the fee will be refunded following the completion of the examination tour and will be payable to the school.
The candidate will forfeit any refund if the procedure is not followed.
Notification should not be given to the examiner.
Teachers who cancel their examination session due to their own illness must inform the Academy immediately, followed by a medical certificate and a written application for a refund of fees. Ninety-percent of the fees will be refunded following the completion of the examination tour, and payable to the school.
Refund Policy for Pre-School Dance Curriculum Demonstration Classes
No refunds will be given for children who are entered for a Demonstration Class but on the actual day do not participate; if these children have been regularly attending classes with the teacher, they may still receive a certificate listing their achievements.
